Hello! I’m Audrey, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m married to the sweetest, funniest, smartest guy around and he’s the love of my life. I’m a new mama to sweet baby Emma Noelle, who was born in May 2014. Her birth was traumatic, beautiful, awful, and redemptive all at once and completely opposite from what I’d planned. Together we’re navigating this journey as a brand new family and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
I also love grapefruit, poetry, and food. Especially food. I drive a Volkswagen, have a large shoe collection, and devote much of my life to the pursuit and enjoyment of coffee.
I believe in a loving God who delights in redeeming broken people and shining his grace through their lives. I believe in eating real food, pursuing creativity in the kitchen, and that cooking for people is a love language. I believe that food was created for us to consume and enjoy and that community formed around the table is meaningful and lasting.
My goal is to inspire others to cook courageously and creatively in a way that communicates love and creative stewardship to those around them. I also write about practical theology as it applies to my everyday story and how I’m striving to infuse my thoughts, actions and relationships with Gospel.
I believe that each of us has a unique story. This is where I share mine.
